CoQ10

CoQ10: the antioxidant your skin makes less of after 40

Your skin actually makes CoQ10 on its own. Pretty cool. The less cool part is that production drops significantly after 40, right when your skin needs antioxidant support the most.

What CoQ10 does

CoQ10 (coenzyme Q10) is a naturally occurring antioxidant that lives inside your skin cells. It does two things really well: it fuels cellular energy production and it neutralizes free radicals before they can break down collagen.

Think of it as both the battery and the bodyguard of your skin cells.

Why it matters after 40

Free radical damage is cumulative. UV exposure, pollution, stress — it all adds up. As CoQ10 levels decline with age, your skin's ability to defend itself and repair at a cellular level declines with it. The result shows up as dullness, loss of firmness, and skin that seems to age faster than it should.

Topical CoQ10 replenishes what time takes away. Studies show it reduces the appearance of fine lines and supports skin smoothness with consistent use.

What makes it different from other antioxidants

Most antioxidants work by neutralizing free radicals after the fact. CoQ10 does that too, but it also supports the cellular energy your skin needs to repair itself. It's working at a deeper level than most.

It's also stable, gentle, and plays well with every other ingredient in your routine.
